The tradition runs deep in his family, with his sister Colleen Merullo also holding a first-degree black belt, and their black belt grandfather. This three-generation lineage of Jiu-Jitsu excellence has shaped Professor Sage into the formidable practitioner he is today. Throughout his career, Professor Sage has competed and dominated the mats at numerous tournaments, earning first-place victories. His expertise extends to coaching, where he has guided many students to success, resulting in multiple team trophies, medals, and championship belts.
