Journey Jiu Jitsu has TOP NOTCH instructors with many years of experience training, teaching, and competing. My son and I have been training with this family (father, son, and daughter) for over three years. I have watched my son go from being shy and timid to being more confident, respectful, and sticking up for himself. He has also won many tournaments, which none of it could of been possible without their expert instruction and training. We have nothing but good things to say about them.
I’ve been training here for almost 2 years. It’s always been consistent professional training for adults. The kids class has grown so much too. Lots of teaching talent at this school for a range of ages and body types. Hope to see you on the mat some time!

Family loving place, Allen, Sage, and the journey family are awesome. Everyone works as a team from beginners to the top level. No one is judged on what they do or do not know. Very detailed lessons and good training.
My son and I joined Journey soon after they opened. My son has had prior Jiu-Jitsu training, and in my opinion, the level of instruction at Journey is incredible. Professor Alan and Professor Sage are very clear and specific with their instruction, train you hard, but maintain a super friendly demeanor. They make you strive to be your best and continue to encourage you no matter what. They use positive reinforcement with both the adults and the children, which keeps everyone motivated. It’s not only a tremendous workout, but it’s also great mentally. My son has gained not just strength, speed, and skill, but self-confidence and mental clarity as well. I cannot say enough great things about Journey and I recommend them 100%!
I took my at the time, 5 year old to Bushido and was skeptical of a little girl do Jiu-Jitsu. The instructors and older kids worked so well with her. They assured me she wouldn’t get hurt and she never did. She got in there and love it!
