Family Focused

Scott and Scotty are a father/son duo at Journey. Both have been training for six years. Scott is a purple belt and Scotty was recently promoted to blue belt. Scott started training because he wanted some other form of cardio exercise and running was boring. Scott wanted Scotty to train because he was smaller than his peers; therefore, he wanted him to know some form of self-defense. Scotty has competed and won many local tournaments. He also won in the 2019 IBJJF Orlando Open, second place at the 2019 IBJJF Atlanta Open, and won the 2021 IBJJF Pan Kid's Tournament. Scott is currently teaching kids classes on Tuesday's. We are grateful to have them in our Journey family!
